1961 - The Serious Std 9 year
Things actually started to get serious, and a little bit more work was being done - both on and off the fields and classrooms! Most of the Pine Trees on the Front Fiel (these days called the Pollock field) were removed, and the Wallabies used the school facilities to practice at prior to the second test at the Boet. The collection of photos and stories below, even if you aren't featured personally, should bring back some memories of the time. Enjoy Std 9 Recreated.
_1961: 15 March - South Africa withdraws from the Commonwealth
1961: Natal win the Currie Cup Cricket, which was then not contested in '61/62 season.
